This is a residential area in northern Lisbon, close to a large university campus (Instituto Superior Técnico). It is dominated by traditional 4-5 storey buildings and the the intersection between the green and red subway lines gives residents a great mobility. The picturesque park Jardim da Alameda is nearby, and the narrow streets of Alameda are always cheery with the flow of Lisbon students during the day.
